DEVELOPMENT OF METHODS FOR DIAGNOSING THE TECHNICAL CONDITION OF ROLLING MILL EQUIPMENT IN TRANSIENT OPERATING MODES

Abstract. Several methods for diagnosing rolling equipment in transient operating modes are presented, primarily when the strip is captured by the rolls and indicators – the time of delay in the reaction of sections, correlation fields, and the oscillation period. The directions of development and search for new methods are considered, examples of using the features of rolling and equipment operation for diagnostic purposes are given.
